These refs don’t want to call a foul on Iowa in these last minutes. Good lord they are all over us. Hit some free throws and we have a top 10 road win!
 

We gotta get more athletic going forward, right? I tuned in tonight and am excited we are winning, but to get to the next level, Dawn will need to recruit a bit better.
 









Why call the timeout? We had the rebound? Now we have to inbound the ball, right?
 













Great win! I'm now updating my "cautiously optimistic" prediction to say they could possibly finish 13-5 in the Big Ten. That was definitely the hardest game we had left and I had baked in a loss!
 


I must be good luck since I stayed my first game thread today :)

Now that was a heck of a win in a place a lot of teams done win.

Going to be a fun ride home I bet.

Thought Tonga was exceptional, Battle with 14 rebounds!

Now can we go to Rutgers and not have a let down game?

Gophers post players had a tough challenge -- and rose to the occasion.

Starter Sophie Hart with strong defense, 8 points, and 6 rebounds on 21 minutes -- 40% shooting.

Finau Tonga with strong defense, 10 points, and 7 rebounds on 19 minutes -- 57% shooting.

Wing Grace Grocholski scoring in the paint too -- 21 points on 50% field goal shooting and 60% 3 point shooting (3-5).
 



Iowa has a tough schedule the rest of the way. Will be interesting to see how they end up. Tougher games at home.
