Zoll essentially gets a one year trial. Putting Derek in charge of the business side was always a joke. I'm guessing that had much to do with this.
 




Perhaps they will bring back Thad Levine.
 




Seems weird to make this move just before the start of spring training considering this year appears to be a throw away season.

If you’re going to make this move should have been done last November.

Really odd to fire the Manager and then let go of the Chief of Baseball Ops. Also bizarre to double Falvey's responsibility and then boot him completely barley a year later.

Tom Pohlad was the one from his generation that they entrusted the majority of the families business ventures. Maybe he has a clue.

As a Twins fan, not much more to fall back on other than blind faith.

I wonder if the lack of a TV distribution deal at present was part of it 🤷‍♂️

I think both the Twins/Vikings swung the axe today because they specifically don't want media widespread media coverage.

Friday is typically when you want to minimize such stuff, "news dump".

They did not have the Minority Owners in place back in November.

Also, Joe was still running the show for the Pohlads until the family fired him and was replaced by brother Tom.

NEW ALTERNATE JERSEYS​

For the first time since 2010, the Twins will wear a jersey on the road that reads “Twins” across the chest rather than “Minnesota.” The club unveiled a new road alternate on Friday, a navy jersey with “Twins” in white script and a state outline on the sleeve. It’s actually the first time since 1986 that the club has had a designated away jersey with the team name rather than the state name, but in 2009-10, they had a home alternate with that wording that was occasionally worn on the road.

I think these look sharp and like the script being used
 

The Twins are bringing back Gio Urshela. I assume he'll be in St. Paul. They keep collecting corner IF'ers but no bullpen help.
