Ryan Day once again proving that he is not a good football coach and is the luckiest man alive to have been gifted that job.
 

I always cheer for big10 teams, but what a fun game to watch.
Amazing thing is how it took so long for NCAA to go to playoff format.

Only sad thing is Gophs will never take part.
 

Damn, I went from thinking it could be an all-B1G final to now hoping we don't get shut out.
 






Title game is in Miami, could only imagine the scene if they get through the semis.

OH-IO State had their chance.

The U just played better in this one.

It will be interesting to see what happens with the other 3 games. If the first round bye teams get blanked again it will almost certainly lead to changes of some kind.

Although the game was close it was very clear in the first half that Miami was more ready to go then Ohio State was.

You see the rust on teams in bowl games all the time because it is tough to get back into game mode after not playing for an extended period of time. As long as you can avoid injuries in that first round game there may be a definite advantage to going into the second round game on a more regular schedule as opposed to sitting around for all that extra time waiting to play.
