With Christmas break behind us, we are back at the Barn welcoming 3-9 FDU. This outta be a blowout. A game to find the rhythm, play the beach, pad the stats and get ready for BT season.

We are crushing the cream puffs last few games, sure beats the UW-GB game.

Let’s keep that going and move on to the meat of the schedule.

GET ‘ER DONE MEDVED!!!!!!!!!!!!

No pregame mention in the star. I’m also shocked that we get no info on injured players

Yeah....8:00 on a week night against a bad opponent. I mean we have already been struggling to bring fans back but a game like this is going to be a ghost town.
Three and a half hours after sunset. These midwinter late games are like going on a midnight commando raid or something.

Agreed but was that in affect last off season? We kept him in check last year when FDU visited
Fair question. I couldn’t find anything when I very briefly looked (not super hard). I did see that they were spending the full (non-private equity) $20.5 mil in 2025 but 75% football and only 15% basketball. So who knows, but their “Crimson Collective” sounded like it was pretty agressive. Has seemed to be a lot of comfortability with throwing money at athletics out there.

I like the 8:00 pm starts for the nostalgia of remembering the ‘70s night games which tipped-off at 8:00 pm. Most games were not televised so without commercial breaks the game ended before 9:30 pm. We’d be back home in western St. Louis Park before 10:00 pm if we didn’t hang around Williams Arena after the game.

Old days were better in some ways. But not all. I have no functional adult memory of college hoops without media timeouts.

So pumped that BTN allocates 2 hours for the game ahead of us to be completed…assuming a 6pm tip, that probably won’t be tipped off before 6:12
