Michigan fires Moore

In Ann Arbor?
There must have been someone working at McDonald's not associated with Michigan.

Wasn't Moore spouting off the "Praise the Lord" stuff when tney pushed a mike in his face when he coached during Harbaugh's suspension? The Lord continues to work in mysterious ways.

I just a saw podcast of SEC guys talk about how LSU routinely has private investigators following coaches looking for future material, and Kiffin would need to watch out. I don't put that past Michigan.

The huge question is...who are they targeting?
Gotta think OSU would have a counterintelligence team running interference to try and protect Moore

One of those things you get on tape and keep it safe for when you lose to Ohio State, miss the playoffs and don't want to pay a big buyout.
Proving again that other schools take rivalry games much more seriously than UMN.

Fleck must be sponsored by Dr Pepper. 😜

I agree. Their last two coaches were embroiled in scandals, PJ has proven he runs a clean program and his sales ability combined with their NIL likely keeps their recruits and important players in place. He knows the league, knows the recruiting grounds, and wants to run the ball on offense. Michigan can also afford his current buyout and whatever his buyout would be if it doesn't work because they haven't paid Harbaugh or Moore to leave. In a vacuum, I'm skeptical of the fit between a helmet school and PJ, but there are *a lot* of mitigating circumstances here. If they can't tempt the coaches Penn State wanted to (DeBoer, mostly), I think PJ could be a real option.
I literally would be fine if PJ’s agent fleeced Coyle into another raise and extension and ta boot gave our underperforming and under qualified assistants a big raise too if I didn’t have to see one more post saying how we don’t have enough money at our disposal to adequately pay our staff. I’m crying uncle trying to argue that with experience and credentials factored in our current assistant coaches are paid above their worth. Plus, let’s step up into the top half of the conference in HC pay going forward if nothing else his time on the job and non game day excellence deserves same.

Kalshi thinks it’s between Dillingham, DeBoer, and Fisch. I wonder if the playoff game goes poor for bama how inclined DeBoer would be to leave.

Michigan does have a history of spying, but Moore should know that.
IDK. He may or may not be 'guilty' but that is a fine line. On the football side, I think this weakens the Wolverines next year but might be helping the Wolverines in the future. Never really thought Sharrone was the guy long-term

PJ was married with 3 children, and although Heather wasn’t a staff member she sold cars at the schools biggest boosters dealership.
So PJ would be a safe hire for Michigan because he's already had his affair and learned his lesson, right?

PJ‘s first wife and he had a child pass away. If you look at the stats it’s not 100% but the vast majority of married couples end up divorcing after that. While Heather always gives me pause for multiple reasons, you’re commenting on apples and oranges here.

Would envision they’ll try hire deboer but man Moore sucks. Wife is pregnant, you have a dream job, and you can’t keep your dick in your pants and screw an intern you clearly have a massive power advantage over, ruining her life and your family’s? Good grief man

Rough timing for a coaching change. But hey....at least they avoided having to pay a buyout....LSU probably taking notes for the next time they try and fire a coach for cause weeks after they already fired him.
