Week 14 Rivaly Week Other Games Thread

How the hell did the Gophers let this Stone-clown burn them so badly last week. Just doesn't make sense.

Wow...Bama goes for it on 4th down in a tie game and in chip shot field goal range. They got the TD but holy crap there would have been a massive melt down if that didn't work and they lost because of it.

Notre Dame with a completely unnecessary fake put, brilliantly executed, and rather petty against an overmatched Stanford

Auburn played with fire the whole game in terms of ball security and eventually got burned

Wow. Cal screwed on an “after further discussion” no call on a chop block that would have made a game tying FG attempt a no-go.

Redemption as the RS freshman misses and leaves 3 seconds on the clock.

Cal wins, and Duke goes tot he ACC championship game vs Virginia

8 teams in the P4 championship games next week and currently 5 are ranked in top 10.

SEC with 7 teams with 2 or fewer conference losses. B1G with 5. Of course the B1G plays 9 conference games to SEC’s 8.

Alabama is the only team of those 7 to play 10 P4 opponents. Indiana is the only of 5 to play 9 P4 opponents.

Wow, can’t believe that a team from the eastern time zone (Notre Dame) could go all the way to the west coast and dominate a team located there (Stanford).

It’s almost like that the quality of teams seems to be part of the equation?

It shouldn’t but considering they were our two leading tacklers today, it made a huge difference.
But that's also because Wisconsin can only run the ball to gain yards.

Not withstanding the one massive play they had.

NW was, is, clearly capable of throwing the ball in good weather and against a DC who doesn't know what he's doing.

I get the traditional aspect of top 10, but when the playoff is 12 teams with guaranteed berths for conf champs, and soon to be 16 teams ... excluding #11 BYU and #18 Virginia doesn't carry as much weight.

Duke really the only "outsider".

Well of course, it's entirely because of the 8 vs 9

And of course, of course, Indiana has the weakest schedule. That's how Cig has skated by

Very much looking forward to them losing to Ohio State
