***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA VS STANFORD THANKSGIVING TOURNAMENT IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

A great stretch of defense in the last 5-6 minutes, just gotta get on the glass. Some good minutes out of Reynolds, offense getting into more of a flow.

Offense functioning better with Reynolds but they need Willis to guard the PG.

Doing ok but they really miss Vaihola on the boards. Stanford killing us on the offensive boards.

Grove is softer than room temp butter. I haven't seen him fight for a single rebound.

Seems odd/incongruous watching our boys, coming out of commercial, and hearing the CBS hoops tournament music playing. Reminder of just how long it’s been. 😳

lol....I was thinking the same thing.

Might have to play Turner to stop the bleeding on the glass.

Can’t rebound. Can’t shoot. Turns the ball over. And can’t even lay a screen.

Crocker- Johnson needs to stop shooting 3s. His two makes were a bank, and one that bounced 3 times before dropping. It looks awful.
Shoots flat footed and doesn't follow his shot

Bad in the beginning and end of the half. Good in the middle. Still better than I thought it would be after the first few minutes. The game for the Gophers seemed to change when Willis went to the bench and Reynolds came in.

The defense has been pretty good for the Gophers but they're getting killed on the boards, especially offensive, and Stanford has had a lot more shots and free throws.
