Rumor from CBS that Dylan Riola may jump Nebraska

"It's a great day here at University Park" - Matt Ruhle, sometime in early 2026.

Wait, are telling me that the guy that was born is Hawaii then went to high school in Burleson (Texas), Chandler (Arizona), Pinnacle (Arizona), and Buford (Georgia).

The guy whose father played for Nebraska and whose uncle is in their ring of honor and a current coach for Nebraska

And the guy who committed to tOSU, then committed to Georgia before going to the school where his father and uncle are considered legends, is going to flip (flop) again

Color me shocked

Maybe he will go to Indiana and change his hairstyle to match Colts legend Payton Manning.

He kind of sucks and if I recall, didn’t he go to two or three high schools and then committed to two or three colleges before he ended up at Nebraska? Hard pass.

We couldn’t afford him, regardless.

He probably realizes his chances of sticking in the NFL are iffy, and he’s looking for one last bag of 💰 before he’s done collegiatly.

The problem is, he'll end up holding the ball for 12 seconds while the pocket collapses around him, trying to make the perfect play, and will end up without an offer and still at Nebraska. 4th down and two years to go.

Hard to believe another program would pay him more than a million at this point. Although Kansas paid Aj Storr to ride the bench and now at Ole Miss.

If the 3.5 million figure that he is supposedly getting now is true he may have a hard time finding anyone to give him more but there are enough teams going around the transfer QB carousel that I am betting he will be able to find a big payday somewhere.

I’ve been told that expecting a young man not to jump from school to school pejoratively puts you in the “honor your commitments” crowd. Raiola fits comfortably in the “make no commitments” group.

If that’s true, he’d have to get drafted #15 overall or higher to receive a larger salary playing in the NFL.
Totally agree. No idea if its true but I did listen to a podcast talking about most overpaid players and he was on it.

I've peeked in on HuskerMax. I love how they bitch that NIL is ruining football and the money being tossed around to players is bad for the game. Walk a mile in our shoes, Husker fans.

Raiola has talent but he is definitely part of the problem. He holds on to the ball way too long. I'm not sure if he is better than Lateef (right now).

He is not, Maybe that is why the rumor is out there.

To their defense, they do pay a lot of money to be in the middle of the B1G

If Raiola jumps, maybe Emmett J jumps too (if he still had eligibility).
