***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA AT NORTHWESTERN WRIGLEY FIELD IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Who’s going to make a play?
Have you watched us this year? The speed in the secondary. The reaction time of the linebackers. The absolute terrible scheming of defensive play calling based on the down and distance.

We are a terrible defense with a terrible defensive coordinator.

The fact we are making a bowl game this year is absolutely amazing.

Lol. That's all you can do at this point. Our defensive play calling is the worst in the Big ten. This is unbelievable
You can't take an inexperienced noob and let him try and cut his teeth in a P4 conference. Does football have a GM that can step in and prevent these kinds of piss poor decisions?

Fleck is going to have to make some big decisions on defense. Was it first year issues that can be corrected? Bunch of coaches in first time roles.

I don't understand how you can have this bad of a defense in year 9 without major injury issues. This defense might pass in the MAC or for a first year coach playing a bunch of freshmen but Fleck has had more than enough time to put together a competent defense.

Was nice of Kats to make so many mistakes to give us anchance

Well if you give him a year for each position he is still two years away.

Seriously what a pathetic defense. Do they seriously have no pride whatsoever

Injuries in the secondary have hurt but I think it's also been a substantial overhaul in scheme coming from Heatherman's departure. If we still had Hetherman this year we'd be substantially better
