Was bored last night (and frustrated after watching Gopher basketball) so I watched this documentary. It was pretty interesting, but my ears perked up when they talked quite a bit about Jim Lindsey and how much influence he had on Arkansas football hirings back in the day. He's a BIG Razorback booster and they seemed to indicate that he was very influential in getting Gus Malzahn hired at Arkansas as offensive coordinator and getting Mustain and his 4 high school teammates to commit there.

Two things came to my mind:
1. How is it possible that Drake didn't even get an offer to play there with his high school success and statistics?
2. How big of a push will they make to get him to transfer there based on his success with the Gophers?

It will be interesting.

I always assumed it was because Pittman favored duel threat QBs and his offense was a bad fit for Drake. Although in a situation like this that probably could have been communicated upfront and honestly. I do believe when Petrino was brought back as OC there was a late push to flip Drake. I know the chatter on here with Arkansas is about Fleck but would Arkansas consider Malzahn at this point?

I don't think the documentary paints Malzahn in a very good light either.....certainly not as bad as Houston Nutt, but not good.
