To get to 8 wins, the Gophs will have to win a road game. So far, in progression, the Gophs have looked quite bad at Cal, very, very bad at Ohio State, and then extremely, horrifically bad at Iowa. This road game trend of progressively more inept play and simplistic, transparent offendive game plans doesn’t bode well for the Oregon game. So, we will need to garner our first road win of the season against NWern at Wrigley—in our last road game of the season. Gulp.

That type of error is the kind of thing that leads to conspiracy theories about the booth or league office secretly calling down to the officials to overturn it. If we had been on the other side of that against OSU in overtime, that is exactly what this board would think happened.
