Is this a record setting start? Has any NCAA D1 team ever been down 31-0 in 18 minutes?
 

How is it possible to be so utterly unprepared?

Thoroughly outcoached and outplayed in all phases.

Iowa may not have much more NIL money than MN but they make up for it by paying and keeping their good assistant coaches (I.e. Phil Parker).
 



Mediocrity is painful. But not painful enough to make any meaningful change.

I think Mason certainly deserves respect for what he did with the program and the Big Ten was good then, but I don't think you can say the conference is that watered down now. The conference has won the last two national championships, James Franklin, despite being fired, had Penn State as a strong program, Iowa has been consistent, Illinois has been brought to a good place by Bielema, and now Indiana is a contender.
 


Which Iowa player is Drake going to throw it to?

Every player and coach on this team should be publicly shamed for this performance.
 





I don't care if we win out and finish 10-3 including a bowl, losses like this are unacceptable and set the program way back.

What recruit is going to want to come here after seeing this? Who is going to want to spend big NIL on a team that does this? If the tickets weren't already sold, how many fans would show up next week after this?

Sometimes you're going to get outplayed but this is much more than a gap in talent.
