Lots of excitement over the satisfying win over ranked Nebraska on Friday. But one milestone reached with that win that may have escaped many people: The win marked the win balance with Nebraska since the infamous 13-84 drubbing heard 'round the world in 1983. Counting that loss and Friday's win - The Gophers are now 9-9 with the Huskers since what has to be the the worst and most embarrassing defeat in the history of MN football. I would love to go back to tap the HS version of ME on the shoulder to tell him (me) that I'd be attending the 6th win in a row over the Huskers and that one day they would join the Big 10 and when that happens the Gophers would run up nearly a 2-1 victory margin.

Better yet, as most know, this was the 6th win in a row over the Bug Eaters. And...
7 out of the last 8
9-5 since Nebraska joined the B1G
38-25-2 All time
