You know it’s a classic when you’re nervous watching two teams you don’t cheer for.
It's easy to look the other way since Derek scored a bounty for him.Polanco is always clutch.
Righteous TimingI made it back home for the 13th inning.
Well played, made meHip hip Jorge
That's Justin Topa slander and I won't tolerate it.It's easy to look the other way since Derek scored a bounty for him.
Given Polanco's injury history in addition to how poorly played last year, I can't fault the Twins for not pursuing him as a FA.That's Justin Topa slander and I won't tolerate it.
To be fair, Polanco was bad last year and a free agent. We could have signed him for 1B like I wanted to instead of Ty France.
A long way to go for this to happen, but I’m really pulling for the Mariners and Brewers to make it to the WS. Not only would we have a fresh champion but it’d be pretty cool to see the original Seattle Pilots of Ball Four fame versus the Mariners.
I thought I would brighten up your shame Holiday, by letting you know Gleeman, FWIW, fully expects Topa to be toeing the rubber for the Twins in 2026.That's Justin Topa slander and I won't tolerate it.

I would pick up Topa's option for $2 million as well. Vazquez should have to pay the Twins $2 million to return.I thought I would brighten up your shame Holiday, by letting you know Gleeman, FWIW, fully expects Topa to be toeing the rubber for the Twins in 2026.
His option is only for $2M and per Gleeman that’s very reasonable for a middle inning reliever with a sub 4 ERA; his was 3.9.
As Vasquez is leaving (unfortunately), I am holding out hope that Jake Cave, suits up at least one game, so he can retire a Twin.
I think you need two protagonists, not one.
Awesome- my favorite Twin in the last 10-15 years.Apparently Jorge Polanco is Senor Octubre.
Weird, I flipped on the channel about a second before the ball hit the glove. So close it didn't trigger the DVR until after it hit the wall.
Gotta stand in there and let the ball hit you.
Dorn would have stood in there.Brewers needed a Buttermaker/Rudi Stein strategy.
Watching this live, I told my wife that the ball bouncing out of the mitt and hitting the wall before being caught made it a hit and not an out. But, I had to watch the replay to confirm it went off the wall before being caught. The players on base also did not have a good angle to see the ricochet off the wall so they held their ground. The error was in why 3rd base and 2nd base didn't tag up and run anyway. Even if it's a caught ball in center, why isn't the runner at 3rd tagging up and going home. There were so many fundamental errors on this play, but it makes for a classic scenario that is one for the record books.
