All Things 2025 Playoff Thread

It's easy to look the other way since Derek scored a bounty for him.
That's Justin Topa slander and I won't tolerate it.

To be fair, Polanco was bad last year and a free agent. We could have signed him for 1B like I wanted to instead of Ty France.

Watching Josh Naylor last night just reminded me of how much I hate Correa. Correa openly stated that he won't even try to steal bases because he's not that fast anyway and he might get hurt. Josh Naylor sure as hell isn't a speed demon and he stole 30 bases this year. And to boot, Naylor had his ankle damn near snap off at Target Field. The fact that Falvey gets not only to keep his job, but got promoted after pissing away all that money on Correa is just baffling.

Given Polanco's injury history in addition to how poorly played last year, I can't fault the Twins for not pursuing him as a FA.

They let him go in 2024 because they had to make way for Julien. Oops.

Another big game tonight. Pending FA again and making himself a commodity.

A long way to go for this to happen, but I’m really pulling for the Mariners and Brewers to make it to the WS. Not only would we have a fresh champion but it’d be pretty cool to see the original Seattle Pilots of Ball Four fame versus the Mariners.

I thought I would brighten up your shame Holiday, by letting you know Gleeman, FWIW, fully expects Topa to be toeing the rubber for the Twins in 2026.

His option is only for $2M and per Gleeman that’s very reasonable for a middle inning reliever with a sub 4 ERA; his was 3.9.

As Vasquez is leaving (unfortunately), I am holding out hope that Jake Cave, suits up at least one game, so he can retire a Twin.

I think you need two protagonists, not one.

I would pick up Topa's option for $2 million as well. Vazquez should have to pay the Twins $2 million to return.

Lavelle e Neal the third. ‘ Hahwhahehwhaje I was asking him if he was play tonight haha what!’ 20 years in the radio and 0 improvement.

Weird, I flipped on the channel about a second before the ball hit the glove. So close it didn't trigger the DVR until after it hit the wall.

Heads up play by Contreras (Catcher) to know what was going on with both the force out at Home & 3rd.
