Best coaches I had repeatedly said, know what you’re going to do when the ball is hit to you. You should mentally review it after each new out or base runner. This if course applies to entering the game as well.
 




Rough night for Philly fans. Phillies get eliminated from the playoffs. Eagles get dominated unexpectedly against the Giants. And the Flyers lose their opener.

I think I liked playing "situations" in practice as much as actual games.

That’s what makes baseball so interesting and so tough mentally - it’s sedentary (somewhat boring), until BAM it’s not.

What's worse is apparently some disgruntled fans vandalized the Liberty Bell last night and put a big crack in it.

I'd have to imagine that MLB is pooping their drawers at the thought of a DET/SEA vs MIL matchup in the WS.

I'm pulling for Seattle. But I would not hate it in a playoffs that's been dominated by short starts and heavy pen usage if Skubal went out and threw 9 strong innings.
