A week after some really good play on the game tape, we are back in what absolutely needs to be a W. Homecoming, hundreds of Gopher greats in attendance, night game, early fall weather, Bank should be rocking.

Gotta get 7 inside the 10, gotta find some muscle on each line and gotta take our shots at the right time.

This needs to be a Fleck locker crowd surfing game, and I think if will be.

I've said this before, but I wish we'd get a lenticular Goldy helmet sticker that would wink when the helmet moved like at the end of this video

Crazy to think the regular season is already half over with after today. Feels like the season just started.

IDK why but it always seems like the fall CFB season flies by and the rest of the winter and spring drags on forever.
 







I fully expect that they'll come out fired up after last week. Should be a fun game.
 

Illinois being jobbed by officials in their game with Ohio State - receivers being mugged, catches being disallowed because the receiver had one foot out of bound at some point in his life, etc., but not when he caught the ball.

Agree any level-headed student football fan should consider the scholarship lottery as worth the time investment (at zero additional cost) to stay into the 4th Quarter.

Evidence suggests however it is probably the quality of the game, and whether the Gophers look like they have a chance to get the W at Do The Gopher, are big factors too in deciding whether they stick it out for 10 or so more minutes.

That's a fairly rational calculation when you can be back at the dorms, condos, or frats to further fraternize (among other things) with friends of all persuasions.

The Billds have commented more than once since the Show Your Oars Scholarship Give-A-Way began that why are they waiting any longer? Go ahead and do it. Not sure how that decision is made.
 


Anyone else’s butthole puckering with all the crazy games today?
