I will risk a jinx (see Northwestern St), the forecast on all the apps are looking pretty sweet from tailgate through the contest.

Game Temps in the low 60s. Chance of showers ranges from 1% to 20% but even that is not until after 9 PM. Slight southern breeze.

What phase will the moon be?
It is good to see increasing interest in what phase the moon will be in for our night games this season. This is easier to appreciate as the fall season approaches and the Gophers do indeed continue to play games at night...where the moon is rising...just up there...or setting... looking from the sunny side of the stadium to the east, south, or west.

Since we're using the technical astronomical terms for the phases of the moon in these reports...that G7NTB definitely appreciates (plus the werewolf Gophers out there), here's the scientific lingo in pictures to go with the reports...

Guessing that most GHers can figure out what will be the phase against Nebbie in a week...Ski U Phases!

By "GHers" being able to figure the moon phase out, I presume you mean by checking my trusty Weather app.
