Was healthy enough to get some carries against OSU and didn't seem to reinjure himself so would seem highly likely that he will be ready to take on a feature role against Purdue.

Of course with DT you never really know. Hopefully he can stay healthy for the remainder of the year, he is a difference maker when out there.
 


That’s great but I’d prefer to have him shut down if he’s not healthy. He just hasn’t looked right since a couple of years ago. He was so explosive and just seems to have lost that.

DT hasn't been elite this year.

DT
41 carries for 173 yards and 0 TDs 4.2 ypc

Fame
48 carries for 225 yards and 1 TD 4.7 ypc

Agreed, but “healthy” is relative in football. It’s like the whole are you hurt or are you injured? At this point everyone has some hurt not everyone is injured. I was just saying DT doesn’t look right. He looks way slower than normal, not nearly as shifty…maybe it was just the first game back?

IMO best player on the team.
 






Personally, I hope that RS WR Jalen Smith plays a big, positive role in the Purdue game--which could be a high-scoring affair. When Smith has a big game, we have executed explosive plays ... and have won:

Difference is that Fame isn't yet a dependable blocker on passing downs when the RB has to stay home and pick up a blitz. But Fame seems to be running harder than DT. Hope DT is his old self this coming game. We need some help on offense.
