Let’s Go Big Red Machine

Doubtful, but I won’t have to remember to have bifocals on eitherIs there even going to be BE baseball by that time, hoss?
That's playoff baseball. Not much hitting yesterday other than Dodger game. Pitching, pitching, pitching.
He's pretty goodThat's playoff baseball.
Anyone remember the greatest World Series ever when the Twins beat the Braves in 1991? Great pitching beats great hitting.
Yesterday Skubel came to play. Man that was a dominant pitching performance over Cleveland. I thought I was watching Nolan Ryan again. Skubel is hitting over 100 after throwing over 100 pitches and dominating Cleveland hitters.
I agree. Detroit has been tanking and Cleveland has the better pitching staff. He's pretty good. Unfortunately, he can only throw once in this 3 game series. Expect Cleveland to come back strong today.

I think you meant RF (Ichiro)Look at the LF for the home team. I have little doubt he could still be a solid player.
Yep, corrected. Thanks.I think you meant RF (Ichiro)
And yeah, I bet even now he could hit well above .200 and be an above average defensive guy in RF.Yep, corrected. Thanks.
George Foster was not impressed.Let’s Go Big Red Machine![]()
Only chance was to keep it close before the Dodgers bad bullpen came in. Now we all get to see Kershaw pitch again.C’mon Reds, let’s get four game 3s tomorrow.
Mike Schmidt and Greg Luzinski will be starting Saturday nightGeorge Foster was not impressed.
And then the Twins hire Aaron Boone. Actually probably not. He might tell Derek where to stick his spreadsheet. Here’s hoping the Sox can win tonight, so the second crappiest manager behind Davy (I ain’t no Lopes) Roberts, Aaron Boone’s Farm, gets the axe. George would have hired and fired him twice already
I wonder if Hal was adopted?
You read my mindAnd then the Twins hire Aaron Boone.

Is that what a few Dodger dogs look like the next day?
Looks about rightIs that what a few Dodger dogs look like the next day?
Uecker is smiling today.Hopefully the Brew Crew can get it done this year.
No WS and last appearance was in 1982, where they lost to the Cards 4-3.
I like it when small market teams upset the apple cart.
In general I agree with you. However in a "win or go home contest" a manager has to do whatever is necessary to survive.Fried vs crochet was by far the best game of the postseason so far in no small part to both of them being allowed to pitch.
I cannot stand bullpen games no matter the circumstances.
