Visiting my daughter at college this weekend and looking for a good spot to watch the game tomorrow. Looking for a good sports bar. Cold Beer and Cheeseburgers has a lot of tv’s but wondering if any of you have any recommendations? Thank you!

I’m about 7 miles NW of Sky Harbor Airport for reference..

There are some great sports bars here, though there really isn't a "Gopher" bar in Phoenix, but there is Goldie's Sports Cafe in Scottsdale that draws Gopher fans from time to time. All of the Cold Beer and Cheeseburgers have plenty of TVs and you'll be able to watch the game there, same with Zipps Sports Grille. A new sports bar in Desert Ridge area is fantastic: Backyard - Desert Ridge.

Go Gophers!!

Assuming you’re staying near GCU, head east on Camelback or West Indian School road for the most options.

You probably want to avoid Title 9 as a venue, although I hear that have good food, they exclusively show women’s sports, but if you are looking for that, that would be the place.

Zipp’s would be just south of these options. But you should be able to find a happy place.

Yep about 5 miles from GCU. When you say east on camelback assuming old town? We were there about 6 weeks ago and there were some fun places.

No, you don’t have to go that far east, there are plenty of options around there that are west of…I think it’s highway 51?

You could also find a place on or near campus in Tempe...

And there are 11 Buffalo Wild Wings in the Phoenix area.
#1 Team in the country is likely to be on any bars screens along with baseball.

People still go to BWW? Literally the worst food I’ve had a restaurant in years. That chain has gone down hill so fast.

Goldie’s is my go to spot when we are in town. Can walk there from the in-laws, which is an added bonus!

Goldie’s is probably as close as you’ll get to a “Gophers” bar in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area, even they don’t get overrun with many Gophers fans though. Boondocks in old town Scottsdale is considered a Vikings bar, that may carry over to Gophers fans too. Downtown Phoenix has some decent sports bars if you’re looking for an interesting area. Otherwise I’d stick with Zips or Twin Peaks.

Went 100% downhill after Arby’s bought them in 2018.

Used to look for them when business travelling, and now I won’t walk in unless there are literally no other options.

Since it looks like you all got the OP setup, I just came here to say: Pizza Luce has great buffalo wings and dipping sauce (both bluecheese and ranch) !!

I see cars there?...I haven't been to one in at least 10 years. Mostly, a joke post inclusion but they do generally have a lotta TV's.
