Rossi's defense is looking pretty ugly right now. Not seeing a very good chance that it improves as the season progresses. When does his seat start to get warm?

Probably depends a lot on how their season goes. Right now they are 3-1 in spite of some games where they gave up more points then they probably should have. If the record starts slipping and the D is really struggling then that is when a coordinator change happens, especially coming of a sub .500 year last year.
 

With the blessing of hindsight, it’s pretty clear now that Rossi benefitted a lot from playing in the B1G West as he would often struggle and have bad games when up against a competent quarterback. As the big ten evolves offensively, it’s not hard to see how his coaching results could worsen.

Yeah, the stats are pretty bad so far...

I don’t remember this being the case, I could just have a bad memory though.
