Gophers Big Ten Schedule Released

With all teams now qualifying,Big Ten tourney will be 6 days (Tuesday-Sunday).

After a 1-year experiment (3 teams not qualifying), Weakling Wednesday passes the torch to Terrible Tuesday!
A part of me liked the 3 teams not qualifying. It made games at the bottom meaningful still.

But I totally get why others probably hated it.

I can easily avoid a couple of more Peacock contests.

In English it starts out like this:
We open with Indiana at home on Wed Dec 3rd.
We travel to Purdue the following Wednesday the 10th
We resume Big Ten play at Northwestern on Sat Jan 3rd.
We hurry back home to play the Iowa Hawkeyes at home Tuesday Jan 6th.
Iowa begins our longest conference schedule home stand of three games followed with USC on Friday Jan 9th and Wisconsin on Tuesday Jan 13th.
A couple of observations...I think we are underdogs in those first 6 games, even though
four of the first six are at home. The ninth game we host Nebraska...first potential possibility to be favored as we handicap it in September?
And we are colliding with traditional high school basketball nights on two Tuesdays and a Friday
in 3 of the first 6 games.

Screenshot 2025-09-19 at 3.35.24 AM.pngThis is a little easier to read....But the Big Ten opener is listed on the 3rd of December on the other schedule....so probably wrong? And the conference games are not easy to decipher the home and away by color. But it's the whole schedule in one place.

Interesting that the Big 10 Women are sticking with only 15 Teams.

Indiana at home on a Wednesday night will be fun. My SO's family is from Bloomington, Indiana so I've been paying attention to IU's teams as well. WIll be a good barometer to start the season
