Dawn P has two huge recruiting gets the last week and no one seems to have noticed. State Fair, Vikings, Gophers football?

Wow! Wondering why someone would make a comment like this on this forum. Are you seriously looking for an answer? Or looking for an outlet to reveal your prejudicial attitude?
I guess my point is if the demand for media attention isn't there, why would the media give it any more attention? If that's prejudicial then so be it, but typically the media focuses on what will generate clicks/eyeballs, that's all I'm saying.

FWIW I would have loved to hear about this recruiting coup previously. I will fully admit this is the first I am hearing of the news.

What more would you like to see for content? Writing, Video, Audio? More interviews? I should have access to pretty much everything this year and would love to change the narrative on the coverage for them.

I always follow woman’s basketball but getting a few wins against ranked teams will increase exposure/ interest. I have been encouraged by our recent recruits and hope
Coach P can keep that momentum going. I enjoy reading/ watching personal academic and highlight stories of our athletes.

I would like to read about how a competent coaching staff functions: who does what? how? when? What does a day, week, road trip during the season look like for a student athlete?
I think I can handle that 🤝 I’ll be posting a lot of clips from the players over the season and can definitely turn that into an article

I would like to see game day match up articles. We now have a coach that can recruit really good players and coach those players to play defense and offense. I would like articles on women’s basketball players in general. Top high school girls match ups. Articles on Minnesota high school recruiting and rankings. More support for the Summit League with St Thomas and other Minnesota college leagues.

Keep the Summit League and St. Thomas stuff on another place. This is "Gopher Hole."
Any coverage of women's basketball is great, but the focus of this message board is the Gopher women.

I think any coverage we can get for Minnesota women’s teams (Gophers or not) is great and a sign of progress. I don’t just follow the Gopher women, but other women’s teams in the state and would like to see them covered as well.

That being said, I can no longer get the tribune delivered in my area of the state so anything I can read from them would have to be posted online.

Unfortunately we need a statement win or season to move the needle. We kind of beat who we should and lose to who we should. Never going to compete with Football Coverage. Gopher men aren't really getting any coverage at this point in the calendar year either. The season is two months away and people/media don't pay attention until B1G season, typically in January. That's often due to weak non-conference scheduling.

We come here and pay attention. We are the minority.
