I think we'll have around 41,000 in attendance with announced attendance around 46,000.

40,500, with a big help from the free freshman tickets.

In 2023, the last year for which I could find scanned ticket information, the Gophers averaged 38,321 in actual attendance, with 5 of the 7 home games below 40,000.

Aug. 31: Nebraska, 53,629 announced; 45,871 actual

Sept. 9: Eastern Michigan, 48,101 announced; 39,604 actual

Sept. 30: Louisiana, 46,843 announced; 37,347 actual

Oct. 7: Michigan, 52,179 announced; 41,512 actual

Oct. 28: Michigan State, 47,392 announced; 33,900 actual

Nov. 4: Illinois, 42,906 announced; 30,157 actual

Nov. 25: Wisconsin, 48,119 announced; 39,858 actual

After the 1st quarter there were only 20,000 (mostly Michigan) fans left for the October 7th game. That's the game you knew Kaliakmanis was going to leave the team. Man that was a beat down by the Wolverines.

I was just looking at the UofM ticket website and there are no entire rows or groups of rows available, which has been fairly common vs MAC level opponents in the past. I don't think it will be a sellout but in terms of tickets sold I am guessing it will be north of 45K. Maybe 48K or more?

I'm convinced Michigan knew the play call for that pick-6 in the 1Q. Defender moved right into the spot before the ball was released. Not that it would have mattered.
