I am going to find it interesting how the ranking of our future Gophers compare to their production this upcoming season. Granted, not everyone plays up to their ranking. Then there are players like Julia Hanson who came out of nowhere and surprised a lot of people.

I was just looking at Volleyball Recruiter, which is one of a few. Some people don't believe in these at all. I do feel there is some truth to why they receive the Pre-Season rankings they do. We have a long season ahead and it will be fun to watch them develop from the beginning to the end of it.

Watching the Nebraska vs Alumni match on Big Ten +. Again, no doubt the #1 Team in the BIG and entire NCAA Div 1 volleyball.

IMO Nebraska has one of their Best all-around rosters ever and, actually, could tout they have TWO starting lineups. Talk about a "DEEP Roster". Of course, playing in a sold out arena for this match and it being played for fun, it became a very relaxed atmosphere.

So, during the regular season things can really become more difficult for this team. I might add, their Alumni team were no slouches either. Flynn (backup setter) was the setter for Team Alumni. She can start for me anyday.

Our first match is just a week away. Shall see what this 2025 season brings us Gopher fans.
