I can’t remember the last time we got a sophomore commitment prior to their junior year. I remember we got an Illinois rb to commit pretty early maybe during the Brewster era? I don’t remember the name or what ended up happening with him, don’t think he ended up signing anywhere if I recall.

There was that QB commit that now plays for Rutgers.
 

Can we count him later as a 0 star recruit?

PJ is doing work right now....i truly believe Koi being as well known and getting national pub is making the U a cool place to play for local kids.
 

Maybe it's here and I didn't see it, but are there any reports on his pass-rushing abilities?

He is regarded as a Top 100 player. If we keep his commitment, it would be one of the largest gets for PJ Fleck and the Gophers yet. This would be above the Koi signing.

Well he lists himself on Hudl and is listed elsewhere on On3 as a DE/Edge so I assume he's certainly got that ability. Also worth noting about Diane, he seems to be good friend with DaJohn Yarborough who we offered out of BSM. Could be a big help there.
