Golden State Warriors/Minnesota Timberwolves

Do the refs hate Ant at this point because of how much he complains? Like what is his relationship going to be with them in another few years? Super star that gets zero calls?
The trouble for ant is he gets tons of little slaps. Guys like Luka and sga draw tons of body. They historically ignore the slaps (Lebron should’ve shot waaaay more FTs in his prime). Trouble is the slaps still really fuck with your shooting

This season is a success as far as I'm concerned.

Let's hope for Denver. The Wolves aren't beating OKC.

Ant needs to play better; and the Wolves as a team need to value the basketball if they want any kind of chance to advance

The spread is MIN -10.5 and the O/U is 203.5 for tonight's game. It's been hard to predict which Wolves team will show up when they're heavy favorites but I would hammer that Over.

Good one!

Wolves run their All Time Record to 3-0 in Playoff Series Close Out Games at Target Center when Ope3 is in the house.

A bit of a gap between Win #2 & Win #3.

You're Welcome.

The Wolves can absolutely beat OKC

I've watched OKC a little in this Denver series. They're objectively awesome. But they ARE beatable, as evidenced by Denver having beaten them, haha. You gotta come with your best game for 48 minutes, though, and I'm not sure these Wolves have that in them. Would love to be proven wrong. That's the challenge.

Are people forgetting that the wolves went 2-2 against OKC this year or something?

Not sure why all of a sudden they are unbeatable.

They have to clean those up. But I also thought a lot of those came when the Wolves were coasting. I don't think that'll be a problem next series.
I hope. After so many blown leads throughout the season, you would think they would have already taken care of this.

Are you new to Gopher Hole?

The opponent is always unbeatable... until the home team beats them. After that, the opponent was obviously terrible. Or the home team was lucky. Or... on and on.

It's a Minnesota thing.

And the Wolves have to play a completely flawless game because surely OKC will make no mistakes, miss no shots, won't get beat on D, etc.

I heard the point made on the radio this AM that the Wolves starting 5 vs. OKC's is a pretty even matchup on paper. The Wolves need to win the bench game in order to beat OKC, which is doable, but all three of those guys need to step it up.
I'd rather play Denver, as I'm sure most would. They're basically six deep. Two of those guys have bad nights, they're toast no matter what the true MVP of the league does on that particular night.

i put pretty minimal stock into the regular season games. Rotations are grossly different and different players playing (we also beat them once when Chet didn't play).

OKC matches up with us really well and has better depth. Would be a very intriguing matchup to see how the head coaches decide to play it and if they go big or small (each direction). Wolves would need DDV to figure it out and take better care of the ball. The Thunder have more "ways" to beat us, but they much rather would've played any of the other teams than us that could've come out of this side of the bracket.

Imagine 10 years ago thinking this organization would make back to back conference finals appearances. Cheers wolves fans, I think I can go to bed early tonight.
I had a hard time imagining it would be possible to make back to back Western Conference Finals as late as the All Star Break THIS SEASON.

Avoiding the Play In Games seemed it would be a tremendous accomplishment.

Adding Hartenstein was a good move by OKC to fill their biggest need, which was size. But if he gets into any type of foul trouble, OKC is small, and a lot like the Lakers/Warriors.

Chet is more of a SF than a big, and he can't handle Rudy, Randle, Naz, and Jaden by himself. I like OKC as a matchup for the Wolves.
