Eichel played 4:28 against Kaprizov in the first period at even strength (highest of any player). Vegas led in:
Shots: 6-3
Scoring chances: 2-0
Goals: 1-0

He and Karlsson matchup much much better in terms of speed. That matchup tilting bodes very poorly for the Wild and is what I would’ve expected over the course of the series

As I mentioned earlier in the thread, Karlsson is who VGK has used forever to shut down the McDavid line when they play Edmonton. He's one of the most underrated 200-ft players in the league. Pretty ballsy for Cassidy to put a couple guys together who have never played together before but Eichel and Karlsson are experienced enough to pull it off. We'll see how it goes the rest of the way.

He played 33 minutes in game 4 too. More than any other player

Also Nyquist going offsides in the 3rd should get his ass in the press box. No excuses for that to happen.

It only cost Minnesota a 2rd round pick to be offsides and lose the game. What a steal of a deal. Billy G does love him some “veterans”.
