Cal football in turmoil and losing many to portal

Cal football has been losing a lot of players to the portal as it sounds like they are working through some internal struggles. 10 players transferred out this week including the entire RB room. Their QB left for Indiana earlier this offseason.

Cal is of course on the 2025 schedule and visits Minnesota in 2028.

Hoping the trip to Cal this year goes better than 2006
 



Well that certainly will help our chances. They had a pretty talented backfield prior to these transfers.

Yes they did. I went to all Cal games last year as my daughters boyfriend WAS a Cal starter (and leading receiver - I did miss the Miami game and what a game that was - Cal should have had only 2 losses last year) and we'll see if he'll become a starter at Texas. Was really hoping he'd stick it out as I was looking forward to the free tickets again next season primarily for the Gopher game. At least now I won't have to wear both teams gear while attending the game, but will now have to pay for it and sit in the sun.
