It's not that easy. If he loses one game in the big ten tourney you then flip back to Souly for the big tourney right after his last outing being that disaster?

Coach has put himself in a bad spot.
 







One team is playing to keep their season alive, while the other is trying not to get blown out.
 

If Huglen is out this team is toast. They can only compete with the better teams at full strength.
 




Throw a 1-2-2 on the gophers and they have no way of getting through the neutral zone. Just turnovers on top of turnovers cause of passes at the blue line vs getting the puck deep.
 

I'm out on Motzko, the entire staff including goaltending coach, the skating coach if they still have one, and even the trainer as they get outworked so often.

Enjoy your 20+ win seasons that go nowhere until he decides to retire. This staff ain't bringing a title back to this state. Need to go better and younger and that would not be hard to do.

Even if they win tonight I have seen the identity of Motzko Gopher hockey for years now. He choked with the best roster in program history. That roster could have been coached by a HS coach and made the FF.
 



If motzko doesn't like the odd number of teams and weeks off maybe he shouldn't have his team get two weekends off before the tournament by playing like shit.
 




This series has been difficult to watch. I get Notre Dame is the desperate one here but the Gophers have just looked out of sorts all weekend.

They have looked like that MANY games. They're just not very good.

Yeah, I guess I was thinking at least like last weekend they were playing a hot Penn State team and earned a split. Different story with this Notre Dame team.
 

What a perfect cap to the weekend. Basketball, hockey, wild, 4 of 3 wrestling finalists all lose. Awesome.

Gophers having a month off playing like shit and with goalie questions is about as poorly as this could have gone.
