What is going on with this team? Schwartz with a fairly decent line and still loses and the errors, all the gd errors.😐
 

This pitching staff is just horrendous. No shade but I didn’t even know Villanova had a softball team.

Since there is no announcer on the broadcast you could be right. There on track for their 5th straight loss down 10-7 to Villanova.

There was zero chance for her to stay here the nanosecond they (Stanford University!… not a bad final destination after all!) came calling for her. If I could never hear that name again I would be in a slightly less cranky mood.

I understand your feeling. I have no illusions myself. It's just that the Admin. did nothing that I saw to keep the program going in the positive direction it was heading.
 


Maybe 1 d1 caliber player on whole roster? Coach isn't gonna last much longer

Did Easton get hurt? She hit a homer in the first game but have we seen her much since? Figured we would see her over Werner so didn’t know if she got hurt.

She deserved the Louisville game as well, but not advancing base runner to get the go ahead run then commit a 3 base error cost her a win. She seems to be getting her form back which is good news.

The only info I found came from the tweets on X. Gopher web site now has all the stats and play by play from game 1. Missouri softball has the box score and play by play for game 2.

Glad to see Schwartz has found her footing with 4 solid outings. Wasn’t expecting wins today, but impressed they hung with Duke. A win tomorrow against Long Beach will give them a 3-2 record for the tournament and a top 25 win. Still hoping to see Susa this year. I had hope that she may be the strike out pitcher this team needs.

Speaking of Duke, Oakland didn't play v. MN, and I couldn't find her name among Duke team hitting stats. Is she not playing?
 



One thing I’ve learned from looking at each game lineups is basically Coach views every game as a clean slate. If you get a hit you move up in the lineup for the next game lol
She needs to set a lineup and let it sit for a few games. If you’re bottom is producing hits it’s not a bad thing to leave them there to turn it over.

I liked the change she made for today’s game. Glad to see Snippes have a solid performance. Good for her confidence.
