Max Brosmer invited to NFL Combine

I’ve seen enough. Our boy is going first overall, lock it in now.

Great news. The East/West Shrine game practices seemed to really open some eyes.

The NFL combine has QBs take some sort of "QB IQ" written test right? Or is that something else? Regardless, I bet Brosmer will score very high on it.

Officially, it was discontinued in 2022; but teams may still choose to use it.

The NFL got rid of the Wonderlic because scores kept getting released and it made some guys look stupid. Some of the guys with poor scores were probably fairly stupid, but some maybe had dyslexia or another learning disability that caused test anxiety.

Silver and Blank have an opening and I could root for them if he went there. If he wants a chance to start Vikes are not ready to give him a shot.

When was the last time a Gopher QB was drafted?

On a side note, one would think Gutekunst would have had better teams with the number of guys he had drafted in 1988 & 1990.

Well this increases his chances of being drafted vs UDFA so that's cool.

15 QBs were invited. about 10-12 get drafted each year.

McShay had Leidner as a 1st rounder in a mock.
He had a nice stat line in the one preseason game he got mop up duty in with the Vikes. Where McShay was coming from I have no idea, that was before his senior season and it was well established that he had a busted foot

McShay was living out of a bottle I believe at that time in his life, so.........................

This isn’t too far off from the Hole’s usual prognostications. This group is usually upset that the Vikes don’t just build their rosters from 7-5 Gopher draft picks.
I can think of a few defensive players I wish they Vikings had.

In those years they did several more rounds of draft picks. In todays draft those classes would have only had 2 drafted. Makes what Fleck is doing even more impressive, historically.
