I'm not really a fan of it. I do like the banana lids with Goldy's face on the side.

I wanna see this helmet with a gold sheen knit jersey and maroon pants. It would be SO FUCKING COOL. MGM is still my favorite combo that we've actually run with, all time.
 








Yellow/gold has slowly but surely eliminated from Gopher football uniforms under Fleck. Gold numbers: gone. Gold neck trim; gone. Gold helmets: gone. Gold pants: rare, trending toward gone.

For some reason the uniforms are headed toward Mississippi State or Texas AtM destinations.

Question for anyone who played football at a higher level than me...
... does wearing a jersey that's the same color as a football help the offense (in other words, does it make it harder for the D to locate the football)?

If so, I'm staying we stick with maroon shirts. If not, then full banana please.

French fries? Hell no, ugly and embarrassing. Not even the Vets will take them. Just go maroon and gold, skip the BS crap until we win something.
