Rivals rating. Instead of the ~70-100 scale 247 uses, they rate on ~5.0-6.1. They give the vast majority of Gophers commits a 5.5.

How silly.

Everyone knows the basic 1-5 stars system. Let's stick to that, please!
 


I actually did not know that. I never look at a second tier service like Rivals, I only ever look at 247.
 


Do three-star recruits like Pierce Walsh not waste time if a D1 offer comes up? The competition window can close up fast if they dilly-dally.

I would think the Gophers development program is becoming very attractive.

A four-star player may have a little more luxury of picking and choosing.

Academic and aptitude requirements at the academies are super high. The kid must be really smart.
