Same with me. My son will be a freshman at OSU and Family Weekend is conveniently against the Gophers. I told him I’ll pay for his school but I’m not wearing any Buckeye shit to that game. Only Maroon and Gold for this boat rower!
He and Lamar seem to be building a really nice chemistry, especially during the second half of last season. Lamar clearly trusts Rashod, and that’s everything for a QB-WR relationship.
Disagree with you on this. Their home gray/scarlett/gray combo (with the classic buckeye nut helmet stickers) is gorgeous, especially when you see it in person. Their roads whites don’t pop at all, I’ll agree there, but OSU’s home unis are among the best in football, IMO.
Rashod gets a 3-year $36.75 million extension with $20M guaranteed. Really great news for him and highly deserved. I hope some of that can come back to DA. 😀

I wonder if these guys could ever imagine their humble Midwestern conference would someday generate $1 billion in annual revenues. Back in the day they’d just bring a dish to pass at family get togethers and everyone would be happy.
Agree, that’s the same thing I thought when I saw this list. Bert is a top 5 coach in this league, and above PJ based on body of work and even head-to-head. I think PJ is solidly top 8, however.
The common factor between BYU and Kentucky? Mark Pope is also Mormon (and coached at BYU). Those substantial LDS dollars are flowing freely to support their own in college basketball.
For me, the confluence of timing between the advent of NIL hitting at the exact same time as Ben Johnson being brought in to run an already teetering program, really brought down my interest, both for the Gophers and college basketball overall (for me, as Minnesota hoops goes, so goes my...
He’s a national treasure and will be missed. If he’s replaced it will be someone far more corporate with far less soul. Read a blurb that he’ll have one last GameDay on Aug 30, and the only two real options are Bama at FSU (his alma mater where he played football) or Texas at OSU, where he did...
