Probably won’t happen, but things are looking pretty bleak at Penn State right now. They currently have 4 recruits and the 131st ranked class in the country according to 247. It is not looking like a desirable job at all.

I think every conference should adopt the ACC model of including the conversation between officials and the replay booth in the broadcast. Much more transparent and more interesting than listening to a washed up ref/“rules analyst” babble on about what he thinks the call will be.

Could have big bowl implications for Gophers. Would have expected them to finish with a similar record and been in the mix for some of the same bowls as us. Not sure how good their backup is but UCLA and PSU could be tough outs on the road with a backup. Would be shocked if they beat Iowa.

We’d be crazy not to consider it. Solid young coach, knows this region and Big Ten football well, and has plenty of NFL connections. The question would be if he’s bitter enough about not getting the Wisconsin job to come here, but if he is I’m sure he would get fired up for the axe game...
