Gophers overcome adversity. It wasn't pretty but they got the win. Showed grit. I wish they could get healthy and be injury free the rest of the season.

Great win over a good Marquette team. The sets were tight and the Gophers didn't falter and they closed out the sets. I find this team very interesting and exciting to follow because they are overcoming adversity, improving, and their potential is still being written. I hope their potential...

Does the U need a more forgiving surface for the players to practice on so they don't over-stress their bodies? Does the U need to change its training/conditioning practices such as less strength training and more flexibility activities? Other?

Good match for the Gophers against Ball State. They stayed comfortably ahead and didn't make many errors. They played 12 players and everyone played well. Acevedo had a big game (11 kills, 2 Aces) after a weak game against Cal Poly. Crowl did not play.
