U of M Total Operating Revenue by Sport for 2024 (football is 75%, other 18 sports are 25%)

correct and ND is in it in part because the creation of the B10 dissolved the WCHA and CCHA as it existed and they realized before they joined (ND added in 2017-18) that scheduling with 6 teams did not work given you only had 20 conference games and finding 7 NC opponents every single year is...

    Indiana ducking P4 non-conference foes?

Same tbh. Guess if you’re a middle ground team who is ok letting the others get there while increasing your gate revenue, knowing you’ll chop the playoff money through revenue sharing, different approaches for how to do it

    Indiana ducking P4 non-conference foes?

Their whole slate at home is whole bowl of awful games. If you swapped it for 3 p5 games maybe it gets interesting but you’ve got fighting for bowl eligibility MSU UCLA and WI and a non sexy game against Bielema. So it’s goes from really sucks to sucks. Not saying it’s not better, but wouldn’t...

The options for bigs are going to be the exact same as last year with Rudy, Naz and Julius playing all the minutes and the kid spot playing here and there 5-10 minutes a game. Much rather have him getting the minutes and developing. there are random bigs that will sign for minimum if you're just...

Jack Pridham no longer committed to BU (OHLer, 3rd round pick in 2024) as sounds like going to sign with the Blackhawks and stay in the OHL another season

good deal for both sides. Eklund will get to make bank when the cap is fully exploded if he continues to grow, SJ is protected from this being his peak if they gave him too many years/dollars. SJ will be a fun team to watch over the next 3-4 years if they stay intact On former Gopher news, Ryan...

    Indiana ducking P4 non-conference foes?

who cares? if they lose a non con game they're out. If they go 10-2, people will attack their schedule and they'll sit between 14 and 18 and only have themselves to blame if they miss out. As a fan, I wouldn't buy season tickets as their home slate is ODU, Kennesaw State, Indy State, Ill, MSU...

    BYU QB Reportedly Transferring

he admitted he had sex so the suspension was staying regardless. Given that, there's probably not a single reason for the church or the football team to care. Given that, these cases are almost impossible to prove in a court of law and given the discussion of talking afterwards for months...

wild have the advantage that they can offer more years this year than anyone else could with the CBA changing. Marner just got 12 but i'd expect KK to be at Draisaitl or higher. He's 28 and so maybe you get away with 7 years (will still be longer than the 6 anyone could give him next year) at...

SGA megadeal is done. 4 years 285mil extension. Still has 2 years at current amount and doesn't matter because they already got their ring, but if they bring everyone back they will be over 180mil for 5 players in 2 years (SGA, Chet, Williams, Caruso, Hartenstein). Dort, Chet, and Williams all...

not a problem. personally (and I love hockey), I think its one of the better deals in town for the ease of attendance and general product, but has limited me in getting season tickets to other things (like football, which I just watch on TV given the TV product is so good)

Yes I’m more concerned about the team we didn’t beat last year returning almost everyone including a hobey finalist and the best goalie in the country more so than Ryker Lee and Cayden Lindstrom. The freshmen will do some good things. The same as the umpteen random 1st rounders we brought in in...

Ah I see. Didn’t know about the salary retention stuff. Now that makes more sense where they’re making the dollars work
