There's no shame getting creamed by UCLA. There's no expectation to make the Elite Eight, and UCLA is a Final Four contender. The goal is to make the NCAA tourney this season. The medium-term goal should be to become a perennial or nearly perennial NCAA team with Sweet Sixteen aspirations...

You cannot compete for conference titles or 2nd weekend tournament games without WNBA players. This team has no WNBA players. Until they get 1 or 2, the best they can hope to be is a bubble team. Olson, Crump, and Johnson in some combination would make this a tourney team.
