Play a real non-conference schedule. Iowa St. and South Dakota St. are good opponents, and they're local. That keeps travel costd low when you need to travel to their court, and it will draw crowds. Also, play the Tommies! That's a no-brainer.

The sports section has really gone downhill. Some of it is due to moving the printing to a new facility that requires stories and games to end sooner, some of it is due to the Star Tribune trying to drive you online for content, and some of it is due to cuts. The amalgamation has really hurt...

Agreed. It was a high-end championship caliber team, though. Knies and Cooley both have a chance to be 1,000 point players in the NHL, especially Cooley. That would be quite an accomplishment.

Tyus Jones signed a 1-year contract for $7 million. He's a low end starter or high end backup, but he should've been a no-brainer signing. We'd be so much better with him than any other option we have.
