I had the same thought, I was old enough to start following MN football in the late 60’s. The beatings by Nebraska were annual, it seemed like forever. It’s been lots more fun since they joined the Big Ten.

Defensive line not living up to the hype so far, in my opinion.

I think they aren’t as good as last year, at this point. But if compared after 5 games, probably about the same. Last years team was a top 15 to 20 team at the end of the year. If not for the bad call against Mich. probably would have been there.
