I think he's had enough time, and the downward trend of the overall OL performance has solidified. At a certain point you have to let go of what someone has done in the past and look at what they are doing right now.

And some people here think that we don't need to fire our OL coach. We're a B1G team. Our OL should dominate the DL of a mountain west team. The fact that they aren't means the OL needs a new coach.

This thread was originally from October 2023, it was resurrected after someone saw that Mack Leftwich now is the OC at #5 Texas Tech. Right now I agree, DC is the coordinator to focus on.

After getting burned by Kirk Ciarrocca leaving for a second time after Fleck hired him back, I doubt Fleck will risk the same thing happening by hiring Rossi back.

It's been a strength, but it's been trending downward over the past few years. If players are struggling to perform, it still falls on the OL coach. He's the one identifying and recruiting the players, right? So if we aren't recruiting good players, it's on him. If the players are good players...

Given how many times Fleck has had the opportunity to promote Matt Simon, yet hasn't, has led me to believe Matt Simon is refusing the job and doesn't want to be an OC.
