    Projected 2026 Lineup

If we can get back to even average success running the football, the offense should be much more tolerable and hopefully our ppg will increase by a score or two. Defense largely just needs to get a bit better at getting off the field quickly and stopping the explosive plays. Hopefully a lot of...

Michigan State is working to hire Cardinals DL coach Winston DeLattiboudere to the same role.

Oh definitely, it was a missed opportunity, I'm just saying that it's not some sort of "betrayal" in my mind on WDIII's part.

    Gopher Assistant Football Coaches 2026

Not saying that money wasn't part of the decision, but even if the MSU offer was matched, I don't think it's inconceivable he would've made the same choice if he has great rapport with Rossi. Honestly, I think the Gophers would've had to more than MSU to sway him to come back and work under a...

Michigan State is working to hire Cardinals DL coach Winston DeLattiboudere to the same role.

I'm reading this more as he liked playing and coaching under Rossi and is valuing that more for his career at the moment. He just lost his job in the NFL, and needs a landing spot and his options were "familiar place, new manager" or "new place, familiar manager". If I had good rapport with a...

    Gopher Assistant Football Coaches 2026

Seems like he likes coaching under Rossi

    FIRE GREG HARBAUGH

Couldn't agree more at this point...need an experienced OC/QB coach to get this offense to its potential. Take a look at the OL coach too

    National Signing Day

I think this is the best HS class PJ has ever signed? Based on the past few years of 247 rankings, a highschool class with a total score of ~225 should rank in the top 30 even after the later signing date. If PJ pulls in a transfer class ranked similar to last year (29 overall), this might be...

John Nestor named Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week.

Woohoo! I was hoping he had another year left after the Wisconsin game. If Koi can get out of his Sophomore slump and get back to the level of play he was displaying his Freshman year, him and Nestor could be a force to recon with in our secondary next year.

Poll: Which assistant coaches should not be retained in their current role?

I've been tough on Harbaugh, but with the O-line regression these past 2 years, I'm not sure I can definitely say that he himself should be fired for the struggling offense over the past 3 years. 2023: Solid O-line and great RB play despite all of the injuries leading to the need to go far in...

    Replace Greg Harbaugh Jr. With?

I'd take a hard look at Joel Gordon at USF if making a change after this season. Spent time at ISU, is doing pretty well at USF, and has plenty of experience as a QB coach (and played QB himself).

(Originally posted in 2023) Who would you pick to replace our OC/QB coach and why? (My pick: Mack Leftwich)

Reviving an old thread: As I was commiserating about our offense I decided to take a look through 2025 offensive team stats and have come to realize Mack Leftwich is now OC at Texas Tech, who are currently ranked tenth in total offense for 2025 and are currently ranked sixth in the CFP rankings...

    Replace Greg Harbaugh Jr. With?

Apart from the run game being non-existent (which I blame on the OL more than anything) the thing the bothers me the most this season is how many times we throw behind or at the line of scrimmage and either get immediately stood up or only 1-2 yards. It feels like any time we have a player roll...

Jettison the O-line and RB coaches

Lindsey could have this offense cooking if our run game could produce anything. O-line can't run block and it feels like the RBs are missing the holes that are there...

POST GAME THREAD: GOPHERS DOMINATE HUSKERS!! WIN 6TH STRAIGHT VS NEBRASKA!!!!

Gophers don't control their destiny, but if they somehow manage to pull an upset against Oregon and win out, only takes a few other games going a particular way, the hardest being Indiana dropping 1 (if they lose to a common opponent of the Gophers) or 2 games), for the gophers to find...

Will the Gophers be ranked in the Top 25 this season?

If we end 9-3, yeah, somewhere between 20-25 is where we'll end the season. Win the next two and I could see us being ranked something like 24 or 25 to make the game against Oregon a top 25 matchup (potentially give them another top 25 win).
