Eli Kokenge and Greyson Zach to play with Wilmar in Northwoods League. Unfortunately, Northwoods League is moving their broadcasts to FloSports this season. 😞

I am pretty sure they cannot, as that would be considered "pay to play". I think contracts can have clauses for things other than performance on the field (academic success, no off-field idiocy, etc).

While I think there may be some inflation/overstating on the numbers as others have stated, when you add revenue share dollars and NIL, and are distributing across 85 players max (in most cases), that's a lot of money for some of these programs. I have no problem believing some impact players...

Last year was the first at its new time slot. Previously since returning to ESPN family in 2010, it was a night game with mostly 9pm Central 'scheduled' start times, but three years were at 8pm Central.

It looks like the Gophers series at UCLA April 17-19th is a 'go' to be played at Jackie Robinson Stadium, as a federal appeals court overturns a previous court ruling which had invalidated their lease...

Just in eyeballing it, the non-conference schedule seems softer than last year.

Minnesota @ Grand Canyon, Thursday, February 26th. The GCU schedule lists the game as part of a dual hosting Arizona State/Grand Canyon tourney, but Minnesota not listed as playing additional games on the weekend at GCU, so guessing they will be in Tempe for the other games in that weekend.

Interview with Coach McDevitt from a few weeks ago. The one thing I found interesting was a comment regarding school policy on fall scrimmages making it hard to play outside competition (he didn't go into detail).

I only made it to a few fall practices. I think pitching will be better. Morton was sitting 93-94 on fastball and touched 96, and looked like good secondary stuff as well. Urban also looked like he had an uptick in velocity. Whelan had a good summer. Other additions looked like they will...
