A day after the Gophers couldn't take advantage of 5 Terrapin errors in an 8-5 loss, today they never lead in an 11-10 loss in the home finale. The bats finally showed some life to rally after being down 9-1, but 10 walks combined with a couple missed opportunities to get outs at home plate...

Another home loss, as Maryland hits 3 home runs and cruises to a 8-2 win. 3 errors officially, and could have been charged with more. Hard to believe we still have just 1 conference win at home.

After the first 3 weeks of season, I really thought this team would be ending the conference tournament drought.

Tough loss today, with Nebraska getting a run in 9th for a walk off 5-4 win. A lot of bullpen arms used today...finale not setting up well.

Nice opening win in Lincoln. Larson with the big clutch hit in 10th.

I have seen this happen with the live stats feed a few times this year...it is annoying to say the least.

I feel like the NCAA jumped the shark when they expanded to 68, so expanding the opening round another 4 doesn't bother me as much and seemed inevitable...but I do agree with prior comment about North Carolina getting a bid this past season as example of it really getting underwhelming for...

Gophers shut out Saint Thomas 11-0. Sutherland with a rare 3 run single (he apparently didn't touch first base and went back to be sure) in 1st on a ball smoked to center field (465 to dead center there), and Mosh with a 3 run home run to right (glad I didn't park on Selby) for final margin...

Three infield singles and a seeing eye single. That was a gut punch. They pitched well today but offense struggled again. 3rd sweep and now 1-11 at home in conference. Ouch.

For two innings, Siebert Field had a buzz after a 5-1 lead. Then, USC hitting overwhelmed our pitching. Very few swings and misses on their part. Throw in a couple infield mistakes on back-to-back plays, and it got away from us.

Watched him in season opener...announcers said he added a sweeper and also had revamped he off-season workout/strength training. Good for him.

8 in a row, as Gophers win 3-2. Sperry hit first 2 batters in 7th who came around to score after Clausen came in relief, and Whelan with 2 scoreless innings to close it out. Perry barreled a sacrifice fly to right for 3rd run. Somehow Gophers didn't score in 9th, but it's a win. Let's keep...
