He took Western Michigan to the Cotton Bowl ... pretty sure he can coach. He finally has a complete team, including a very good QB. Let's see where this magic carpet ride takes us.
Call me crazy but I think Max will get drafted in round 5-7 and stick with an NFL team. First since Craig Curry back in the day. The guy reminds me of Brock Purdy.
Yes he's the best I've seen in a Gopher uniform. With all due respect to Craig Curry, Tony Dungy, Adam Weber and Tanner Morgan, Brosmer is the most accurate and, while he doesn't have a cannon for an arm, he can make most of the throws AND he's smart enough to avoid mistakes. Kinda reminds me...
I'm loving the way the passing game has evolved. No longer one dimensional bully ball. Darius Taylor is probably loving not running the ball 30 X and getting beaten up every week. I was just thinking with a few breaks we could easily be 8-1. Oh well, I give the coaches a well deserved "A"...
I'm a contemporary of Kent Kitzmann of Rochester JM. I played football for Austin HS back in the day but love the rich history of Gopher football. My favorite modern day RB would have to be D Thompson --- man could he turn on the jets!
Probably in your late 50s or 60s. Yes I am. Pete Gogolak and Jan Stenerud were a couple of the early "sidewinders". Back in the day when Jerry Kramer and Fred Cox were the straight on kickers in their prime.
I'm thinking USC very easily could have beaten Penn State, and since we beat USC, there's no reason we can't beat them at home. Every other team on the schedule can be had. Illinois is always tough.
I agree. When that happens he will become a tackling machine in addition to being a ball hawk. His style of play reminds me of the great Paul Krause right now.
He regressed for some reason. Coaching probably had something to do with it. Losing his confidence was obvious and key to his poor performance last year. I feel for the kid but without a thick skin, QB is not the best position to play in football.
