The '26 class is really shaping up. To think we (me, anyway) are grinding our teeth about what is probably PJ's least talented team at MN, yet it still has an excellent chance at 8-4 AND a stellar '26 recruiting class waiting in the wings... this is just outstanding.

There is a bit more to it than that. It generates a LOT of excitement and anticipation on a lot of campuses and provides material for a lot of daydreaming as it pertains to David/Goliath matchups. Truly huge upsets early are (would be) rare but they are in basketball too.
