It's amazing what the Caitlin Clark effect has had on Iowa recruiting. She was an Iowa girl that stayed home to play for the local team. And now because of her some out state girls are considering the Iowa program.

This team is talented but much depends on whether or not both Braun and Woodson can stay healthy for the whole year. If they can the team will do more than make the tournament. They will advance well into the tournament just like the 2004 team featuring Whalen and McCarville.

Just keep scheduling low hanging fruit so you can build up your win total so you can get into a tournament where you can beat up on that same low hanging fruit to impress the unaware. Beyond that she's done nothing. What has she done in the portal? NOTHING!!

Still the same Plitzuweit. Able to beat the lesser teams but unable to compete with the upper level. It would be tough to play in her system. She absolutely believes she can beat those upper level teams focusing on defense. Good luck to her.

I hope you're not the same person that told me 5 years ago that Gianna Kneepkens was not a D1 player and could only hope to get a D2 scholarship. Kneekpkens made All America this year and will be drafted if she declares. Hmmm??

I totally agree drewhaus7. Scoring 57 points in a Big Ten game isn't going to win many games at that level. Apparently, Dawn hasn't gotten that memo yet. She's not good at player development. She is bringing in some higher profile offensive players in the next 2 classes but will they play...
