He is a Meh player. He likely would have ridden the bench prior to the coaching change.
I live near Philadelphia. He is okay, just not a starter in the Big 10.
I didn't write or indicate that. I like the Medved hire, I am just interested in who he is going after and trying to bring in. We need players so it is interesting to follow. Plus, it does tell us something about Medved. The type of players he brings in. And I think it is positive if we see...
The point was to see what information on players we may be recruiting is. I knew of two possible names. I have more now.
As for Johnson, yes water under the bridge. He was awful in nearly every facet of being the coach.
The Gophers were going to have an issue even if Johnson was retained. Because he was reliant on pulling Portal players year after year and could not keep any recruits. And no, it was not all about NIL. It was about bad coaching and a chance to win as well.
So, looking at the board...... we really have nothing in terms of who Medved could be trying to bring in. We don't even have enough players to field a team.
Fierce is fine, what we want is a clear winner. A player you know can pass the ball and lead the team. The one reel I saw demonstrated a wobbly pass but it connected deep. There was zero pressure on the QB. What happens when there is pressure? Even more wobbly?
The other issue was Ben not using freshman often. He is allergic to using the bench. Asuma has skills, someone had to coach him and create opportunities to use them. Which the ex-coach did not do.
