From my perspective as a Gopher fan college sports officiating is the same as pro. How many times have we gotten railed playing against blue bloods/helmet schools? Still pissed about the PSU game when Paterno whined for a PI flag on 4th down and they threw it 18 seconds after the play was over.
If I was putting together a starting 5 of NBA players I can’t stand I’d go with the following:
Draymond
Luka (Doncic not Garza)
Jimmy Butler
Chris Paul
Russell Westbrook
Trae Young is close to replacing Paul. Can’t stand the guys who stop short to draw contact.
Man it seems like teams get so caught up in a players measurables that sometimes they forget they’re drafting a football player and discount on field production. I look at the Bengals drafting Shemar Stewart and kind of shake my head. Maybe he’ll turn out to be a great NFL player but all that...
I honestly don’t see what was cringey or awkward about it. Everybody just waiting to jump in and criticize the private lives of two grown consenting adults is way more cringey, IMO.
That’s why this is the one of the dumbest invested problems I have ever seen. Over on the football board there’s a thread about Nico Iamaleava which has nothing to do with Gopher Football. Not sure why this insult to our existence has been allowed to stand. Meanwhile nobody can bring up the...
If you would have told me on 4/1/97 what was going to become of our basketball program I would have thought it was the most outlandish April Fools Joke of all time.
Yeah not sure I’ve ever felt “good” after a loss. The least bad I’ve probably felt was against USC in 2010 just because I had no expectations of winning and they competed hard. And the storied Big Ten rivalry we have with them had not yet begun.
