This is what Dicky V was referencing when he mentioned the NIL and how out of control it is. Before NIL it was all about getting to the "League" Now not so much, even for those who might be drafted in the first round. SAD!!!
One thing he said was something about a kid who might be a late first round/early 2nd round NBA pick and why would he come out when NIL will pay him more than being pick at that spot. Thus you have kids moving around so much who ever will pay the kid more...
Players who are fortunate to get north of 250,000-500,000 should not get scholarship money and stipends. Paying the education for these kids should also be a thing of the past. Blow it up from the ground up.
